International Barley Core Collection

The International Barley Core Collection (BCC) is a research collection aiming at representing a maximum of diversity in wild and cultivated barley with a minimum of accessions. About 1,300 accessions are being available currently. Thereof, 300 varieties and land races are maintained in the Gatersleben Genebank. Information are available either via the [link]European Barley Database or via the Genebank Information System of IPK. The latter will also allow material requests.
